Fuzzlings — Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 5, 2026 · Last updated: June 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Fuzzlings (package net.jjunior.fuzzlings) handles information. Fuzzlings is developed and published by J Junior (the "Developer", "we", "us"), the independent studio behind jjunior.net.

The short version: Fuzzlings is free to play and 100% playable without an account and offline. It uses Google AdMob to show ads and Google Firebase to power an online leaderboard and cloud-saved records. When you're online, the game automatically signs you in anonymously (no name, no email) and stores a small amount of game data (an anonymous ID, a display name you choose, and your scores) so the daily leaderboard works. There are no in-app purchases.

1. Who we are

Fuzzlings is created by J Junior, an independent mobile game developer (jjunior.net). For any privacy question, you can reach us at jjunior.development@gmail.com.

2. What Fuzzlings does not do

We have intentionally kept the game lean. Fuzzlings does not:

3. Online features & data we collect

Fuzzlings includes an online layer — the Daily Challenge leaderboard and cloud-saved records — powered by Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore). The game stays fully playable offline and online is never required to play; but when you're connected, anonymous sign-in and cloud save happen automatically to add ranking and durability.

Authentication

Data we store (Cloud Firestore)

To make the leaderboard and cloud records work, we store the following in Firestore:

We do not collect your real name, email address, contacts or location through these features. Zen mode keeps no score. If you never play the Daily Challenge, no leaderboard entry is created for you.

4. Advertising — Google AdMob

Fuzzlings is free and ad-supported. It uses Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK) to display ads — an interstitial after some game-overs and optional rewarded videos for power-ups and continues. To serve and measure ads, Google's SDK may collect and use:

Depending on your consent and region, Google uses this information to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. This processing is carried out by Google. For details, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Data stored on your device

Some information is saved locally on your device, including your settings, chosen language and a cached copy of your records (Firestore offline cache). The app also reads your device language locally, only to pick the initial language. You can remove local data at any time by uninstalling the app.

On first launch, where required (for example in the European Union, the UK and other applicable regions), Fuzzlings shows Google's UMP / GDPR consent form, so you can choose whether to allow personalized ads. You stay in control:

7. Children

Fuzzlings is not directed to children under 13 and is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the game, please contact us and we will work to address it.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under the GDPR in the EU/UK and the LGPD in Brazil), you may have rights to access, correct or delete your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because the data we hold is tied to your anonymous UID, you can ask us to delete your leaderboard entry and stored records at any time by emailing jjunior.development@gmail.com (please include your display name so we can locate the entry). For data held by Google for advertising, use the controls in Section 6 and refer to the Google Privacy Policy.

9. Retention & international transfers

Your records and leaderboard entry remain in Firestore until you (or we, at your request) delete them, or are rotated out as daily leaderboards age. Locally stored data stays on your device until you clear it or uninstall the app. Data processed for advertising is retained by Google according to its own policies. Both Google Firebase and AdMob operate globally, so data may be processed in countries other than your own; these international transfers are handled by Google under the safeguards described in its privacy documentation.

10. Google Play Data Safety

For transparency, this is consistent with our Google Play "Data safety" declaration:
